I have been a Certified Home Inspector in Tucson, AZ since 2003, and have been a real estate investor, “flipper” of houses for a number of years before that, and have recently completed building our first house. Houses are a passion of mine, and I enjoy sharing information about houses, how to save energy and water, and what I do. I believe that we should try to be stewards of the desert, and we built our house to be as “green” as possible, and through this home inspection blog, I thought I could share with my clients and everyone else who has an interest in information on their homes.
Personally, I am married to the woman of my dreams, and we have been together now since 1994. We share the same passions of hiking, bike riding, real estate, reading and wine, to name a few.
I have a Daughter and we have a granddaughter and Grandson living in Georgia, which we don’t see nearly enough.

What type of equipment do you use to test for Radon? Also, are there even any options for mitigation in Tucson? I have found nobody who does any Radon abatement or mitigation.
